Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the US as well as Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works as an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation often. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since the age of nine. The ability to speak two languages helped her to get her first job at Univision, Miami. She worked as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her next job was as reporter for sports at the CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at KNVO TV 48 Univision. It was during a time of summer when she was with her younger sister at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had gotten the job. Antonietta was an incoming senior in high school, but she was very aware of her goals for the future. She went to Mount Union University in order to see if it was a good fit for her. In the end, she fell in love with the campus. And they offered her major. She graduated from high school and began studying media at the university. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed the WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for a number of years, was an acquaintance. Her professor, Mark Bergmann, inspired her by his passion for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
